Choosing The Best Basketball Player of The 2020s

best ncaa basketball players

Every player in the NBA is a potential star. All of them have a nice physique. Some are at least average size. They all have attractive facial features and excellent skills for scoring, rebounding, defense, ball handling, and shooting. Some are even considered the best basketball players in their age bracket.

Only A Few Are Considered

But only a few of those best basketball players are actually considered as the best in the world at their position. Here’s an example: James Harden of the Houston Rockets is probably considered the best basketball player at point guard. He has a great skill of passing the ball and getting to the free-throw line at will. He also possesses a very nice mid-range jumper.

Wilt Chamberlain

So we can pretty much eliminate him from the list of the best basketball players of the present. And who else is there left besides Wilt Chamberlain? He is the number one all-time leading scorer in the NBA with 27 seasons of experience. His achievements in winning six NBA titles have been surpassed by some guys from recent history, but no other certainly ranks near the hall of fame of this era.

Lebron James And Kobe Bryant

Lebron James and Kobe Bryant are the usually chosen candidates, but who else should get the chance to be a part of this? Kobe Bryant is the obvious choice since his previous stints in Cleveland are not remembered fondly by most fans. On the other hand, Wilt Chamberlain was great in his stint with the Los Angeles Lakers. During his time with the team, they made three straight finals appearances and won the trophy twice.

The Hall of Fame

Last but not least, I am sure that you are already aware of what the Hall of Fame has to offer. If not, here is a quick recap. Every five years or so, a select group of basketball players is selected for a special honor. During the induction process, they are presented with statues, trophies, awards, and other memorabilia. During the induction process, they must be worthy of being placed in the Hall of Fame and must have played for several years in the NBA, which requires an incredible number of points scored during their career.

Stephen Curry

With Michael Jordan out of eligibility in his step, the only viable candidate left is Stephen Curry. Curry will most likely be chosen over Allen Iverson or Kobe Bryant, and he will be presented with his award during the conference finals. This could be the greatest stage ever for Curry to reclaim his place as the league’s best player. He has already proven himself on the biggest stage, and I am sure the odds are in his favor.

If you want to have your vote for the best player of the last 20 years, then you should really look into Curry. He is the perfect fit for what the Los Angeles Lakers need at the point guard position. He can create shots for his teammates, and he has the ability to hit the three-point shot. He will most likely be chosen as the NBA’s top player of the summer. So, I am very confident that Curry will be the best player to ever come out of Los Angeles.
